Welcome
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of color-a-dog.com
and your purchase of products from Color A Dog ("we", "us", "our").
By placing an order or using the site, you agree to these Terms.

Who can buy
You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent
or guardian, to purchase a kit. We currently ship to United States
addresses only.

Your photo, your dog, your rights
When you upload a photo to order a kit, you confirm that:
- The photo is yours, or you have the right to use it.
- The dog in the photo is yours, a dog you have permission to depict,
  or a dog whose owner consents to having the kit made.
- The photo doesn't include other people, copyrighted artwork, or
  brand logos that you don't have permission to use.

You grant us a limited license to use your photo solely to produce
your kit, send you a digital proof, fulfill your order, and provide
customer support. We don't sell or share your photo. We may keep a
copy in our records to help with reprints, replacements, or customer
service questions.

We may, with your separate written permission (a reply email is
fine), share completed kit photos in our gallery or social media.
We won't post your photo without that permission.

What we sell, and what we don't
Each kit is custom-printed for the photo you upload. Kits are made
to order, typically ship within 7 business days, and are shipped via
USPS or UPS. See our Shipping policy for delivery details and our
Refund policy for returns and replacements.

Pricing and availability
Prices are listed in U.S. dollars and don't include applicable sales
tax, which is calculated at checkout. We reserve the right to change
prices and to refuse or cancel any order — for example, if a price
was listed in error, if a photo can't be reasonably reproduced, or
if we suspect fraud.

What we won't print
We reserve the right to decline any order, with a full refund, if the
photo:
- Includes a person or copyrighted character we'd need permission to
  reproduce.
- Includes a dog that doesn't appear to be the customer's own without
  evidence of permission.
- Is too low-resolution, blurry, or dark to produce a recognizable kit.
- Contains content that's offensive, violent, or unlawful.

Site content and intellectual property
The site, including the Color A Dog name, logo, photography, copy,
illustrations, and code, is owned by us or our licensors and protected
by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, scrape, or reuse
site content for commercial purposes without written permission.

Accounts and email
You don't need an account to buy a kit. If you sign up for updates
and discounts, we'll email you marketing messages and you can
unsubscribe anytime via the link in any email.

Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim
related to your purchase is limited to the amount you paid for the
kit. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential
damages — for example, time spent assembling a kit you didn't enjoy.

Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York,
without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be
resolved in the state or federal courts located in Manhattan,
New York.

Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date
below tells you when. Continued use of the site after a change means
you accept the updated Terms.
